Becky Kearns

Throughout my career in financial services, I've been motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by helping them better understand their options and feel more confident about their financial future. I'm passionate about helping people make informed decisions as they prepare for and transition into retirement. After 16 rewarding years with Athene, I retired from the corporate world in April 2026. I'm incredibly grateful for the experience, knowledge, and relationships I gained during that time; especially the many friendships and connections that made my career so meaningful.

After taking several months to focus on family, health, reconnecting with old friends, and building new relationships, I began an exciting new chapter in August 2026 by joining my childhood friend at Horizon Financial Resources LLC as Vice President of Operations. In this role, I'm able to continue using my experience in the insurance and retirement industries while supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice. More importantly, I have the opportunity to contribute to a firm that helps individuals and families navigate important financial decisions and prepare for a successful retirement. I'm excited to bring my industry knowledge, commitment to service, and genuine desire to help others to Horizon Financial Resources, making a positive difference for our clients and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, taking morning walks, traveling, and reconnecting with friends, old and new. I'm grateful for this next chapter and all that it brings!
